Paulo de Cantos (Portugal, 1892-1979), een uitgever, bibliofiel, docent en amateur typograaf die tussen 1920 en 1960 een veertigtal boeken schreef, ontwierp en publiceerde, neemt een bijzondere plaats in in het proces van artistieke modernisering in Portugal. Deze tentoonstelling presenteert de in eigen beheer uitgegeven werken van Cantos aan de hand van de verhalen over zijn (her)ontdekking door de Portugese grafische ontwerpstudio, barbara says.

Het boek 'A Cantos Compendium' zal te koop zijn tijdens de tentoonstelling.

Paulo de Cantos (Portugal, 1892-1979) a publisher, bibliophile, educator, and amateur typographer who wrote, designed, and published around forty titles between 1920 and 1960 occupies a particular place in the process of artistic modernisation in Portugal. This exhibition presents the viewer with Cantos’ self-published work through the narratives of his (re)discovery by the Portuguese graphic design studio barbara says.
